Playing and accounts

This is a recreational pool simulation. Accounts, online account features, and Jev AI are for adults age 18 or older. Creating an account or accepting these Terms requires you to confirm that you are 18 or older. Do not create an account for a child. Guest local play does not require an account. No gambling, wagering, prizes, or real-money winnings are offered.

Choose a username that does not impersonate another person, disclose someone else's private information, or contain abusive material. Keep your password and recovery phrase private. A recovery phrase can reset your password; we cannot recover your original password.

Fair use and Jev AI

CPU is available without an account. Jev AI requires an account, acceptance of these Terms, and available service capacity. The free allowance is one server-managed game per account and per source network per UTC calendar day. IPv6 addresses within a /64 share a network allowance; people sharing a home, school, workplace or VPN may share an allowance. An unfinished game can be resumed that day. Starting a new local rack does not grant another Jev game.

We may limit requests, suspend abusive access, or change future allowances to keep the service available. Do not automate account creation, evade allowances, attack the service, steal credentials, or interfere with other players. Ordinary browser inspection and good-faith security reports are welcome; report vulnerabilities privately to the contact above.

Jev is experimental and may make poor shots. Provider outages, usage safeguards or positions without meaningful choices may use a visibly identified local geometry/CPU fallback. No particular skill level, uninterrupted availability, or completion of a free game is promised.

Data and optional analytics

The Privacy Notice explains accounts, security records, online match records and Jev usage accounting. Optional feature analytics requires separate opt-in and is not a condition of play or account creation. Accepting these Terms is not consent to optional analytics.

Your rights and our responsibilities

You may use the service for personal recreation subject to these Terms and applicable law. The service is provided as available, without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, or liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or gross negligence where exclusion is prohibited. We do not require binding arbitration or waive class-action rights.

We may update the software or discontinue a feature. Material changes to these Terms will be dated and require renewed acceptance before further Jev use. These Terms are governed by Pennsylvania law, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live; they do not restrict your right to bring a claim in a forum required by applicable law.
